Hi There!
My name is Erin Tegan Simmons, and I am a one year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi that has been adopted by my humans...Pat Simmons and Denise Monk-Simmons, who are Guardian members of Biker Dogs MC. They gave me the name "Erin" because it is Welsh for "Ireland" and "Tegan" because it is Welsh for "of doe-like beauty". They call me Tegan, though.
I started riding Harley-Davidsons with them at a very early age, because they adopted me so young (5 weeks), and we went to Sturgis just a week and a half later!
I don't quite fit into their shirts or vests like I used to, so my Momma found this contraption that fits on either her or my Dad...kinda like a backpack...only on the front, and it has a tiny leash-like device on the inside that attaches to my collar, just incase I were to loose my balance on the flooring in it. But at 18lbs now, there really isn't too much room for me to move around in it anymore, but it has a perfect opening in the middle for my head to stick out and look around.
I am sending a picture of one our most recent trips to Missouri, to a meet we went to up there.
We live in New Orleans (what's left of it) and we are proud to say that we road it out here during Hurricane Katrina because my Daddy is an EMT and my Mommy is a nurse. We stayed at the EMS station where my Daddy works at, and all the guys that work there are my "uncles" and love me a lot. (I keep them in line, however.)

Liberate a Dog !

We'd like to remind people that there are a lot of wonderful dogs waiting to be adopted at your local animal shelter.
You can also offer to volunteer to walk sheltered dogs while they await adoption.
The dogs love getting to leave their cages for a walk!
Please visit our adoption page for featured "Shelter-of-the-Month" and list of places to adopt.

Also visit a website dedicated to motorcycle-riding canines!
