Chopper is a three-year-old Shih Tzu who is a motorcyclist and an author. He usually rides in a tank bag made for dogs in front of his Mommy, but recently was given his own motorcycle, which he rides in the living room since he doesn’t have a license. Chopper completed beginner obedience training, but was called “strong-willed” and “a party on wheels” by his teachers. He recently published his first book, “I’ve Been Picked: Chopper’s “Tail” of Adoption” and just released a travel brochure for dogs called “Chopper’s Ride•Fly•Drive Hit the Road Guide for Dogs and Their Humans.” When he is not doing book signings or school visits, Chopper likes to ride and play with his dog and human friends as well as help raise funds for the renovation of his favorite dog park and the local SPCA. He decided to join Biker Dogs M.C. to meet more dogs who ride because his only canine riding buddy lives all the way across the country.

We'd like to remind people that there are a lot of wonderful dogs waiting to be adopted at your local animal shelter.
You can also offer to volunteer to walk sheltered dogs while they await adoption.
The dogs love getting to leave their cages for a walk!
Please visit our adoption page for featured "Shelter-of-the-Month" and list of places to adopt.
